Paranormal Investigators: Past and Present: Special Edition: Scooby Doo

“Where Are You?”
Scooby Doo

Born on the Knittingham Puppy Farm, Scoobert “Scooby” Doo is a Great Dane owned by Norville “Shaggy” Rogers.
Scooby, as he is affectionately known, is the mascot of “Mystery Inc”, a group of Paranormal Investigators of which Shaggy is also a member. Mystery Inc. also includes members; Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley and lead investigator Fred Jones.
The team travels the world in a van owned by Daphne Blake, known as “The Mystery Machine”, painted green with the team's logo on the side, the van is easily recognisable when out on an investigation.

The team has worked with a number of celebrities over the years, including crime fighter, Batman, comedians such as Phyllis Diller and The Three Stooges, and sporting greats such as The Harlem Globetrotters.

Mystery Inc has been one of the most influential teams in the modern era of paranormal investigations, with television shows and movie appearances, it seems like “The Scooby Gang” as they are sometimes affectionately known, are everywhere in the media spotlight, even gaining their own range of children’s toys and a clothing line!

Scooby Doo has investigated many cases from across the globe which have been documented in DVDs available through the internet, below is an example of some of the places and creatures that Scooby and Mystery Inc. have investigated over the years.

"Scooby-Doo On Zombie Island"
"Scooby-Doo and Witch's Ghost"
"Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders:"
"Scooby-Doo! And The Legend Of The Vampire"
"Scooby-Doo! and the Monster of Mexico"
"Scobby-Doo! and The Loch Ness Monster"

As you can see from the list Scooby and “The Scooby Gang” are very open-minded about the paranormal in general, investigating all types of phenomena from Zombies, UFO's, Ghosts, to monsters and cryptids.
This team is still going strong after their formation in 1969, that’s over 40 years of experience in the paranormal field!

Scooby has an insatiable appetite for the paranormal and his personal tip for investigations is bring Scooby Snacks as his best friend Shaggy says "Being in a constant state of terror makes us constantly hungry!"

We look forward to seeing more investigations and mystery solving from Scooby and the gang in future episodes of their hit television series, until the new episodes arrive you can always go back to the original “Scooby Doo, Where Are You?” series and see the Mystery Inc team in their early days....
